| Fund Overview | The CSL Active Long/Short Programme is an absolute return focused fund seeking an efficient exposure to commodities. The fund operates in deeply liquid global commodity markets using systematic processes that enable it to be long or short in any individual market with a modest level of gearing employed. The portfolio systems manage positions in trending or mean-reverting markets as they rise or fall, with a core emphasis on risk management and capital preservation across every aspect of the process. |
| Manager Comments | Commodity Strategies' Long Short Fund posted an impressive 4.28% return in November. Metals including gold, silver and platinum were the main positive contributors while nickel was the only metal to have a negative impact. Coffee, cocoa and gas oil were all down but other commodities such crude oil, cotton and corn offset those losses. |
