Fund OverviewThe Frazis Fund is a thematic long/short global equity fund, with a macro overlay. The portfolio pairs high conviction, concentrated, long-term equity investments, with asymmetric, proprietary hedging strategies, to create a unique and highly differentiated return profile.

The manager follows a disciplined, process-driven, and thematic strategy focused on five core investment strategies:

1) Growth stocks that are really value stocks;
2) Traditional deep value;
3) The life sciences;
4) Miners and drillers expanding production into supply deficits;
5) Global special situations;

The manager uses a macro overlay to manage exposure, hedging in three ways:

1) Direct shorts
2) Upside exposure to the VIX index
3) Index optionality
Manager CommentsThe Frazis Fund contracted 6.2% in February, roughly in line with global markets. The Fund has risen +4.49% YTD and +12.26% over the past 12 months. With regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, Frazis' emphasise that pandemics are temporary shocks. While there will be harsh economic consequences, the worst will pass with the virus; flights will be rebooked, restaurants refilled and staff rehired. For that reason, they see great opportunity in today's market pricing.

Despite many of the Fund's peers moving to cash, Frazis noted they are staying invested. They are focusing all new purchases on core companies with net cash and positive free cash flow. The Fund does not hold leverage, nor does it have any short positions or derivatives.
