Fund OverviewThe Instinct Japan Opportunity Fund is a Japanese Equity Event Driven Long Short Fund that operates on a market neutral basis. The Investment Process utilizes diverse strategies such as Special Situations, Fundamental Catalysts, Tactical Trading, Capital Raising and CB/Vol and seeks to deliver long term capital appreciation with minimal correlation to market indicies.

The Fund has a forward looking approach and specialises in trading highly liquid listed Japanese companies, and is focused on short term events only.

The fund's objectives are to return 3-5% per trade, with a 5-10 day holding period for each position, and a win/loss ratio per trade of 70% to provide investors with a targeted annual return of 20-25%.
Manager CommentsInstinct's Japan Opportunity Fund continued the impressive run in their first calendar year of operations with another strong result in December, and returning over 35% for the year, to bring annualised performance since inception to 38.04%.
